EDITORIAL:

Welcome to "The Drag Issue."

I am so thrilled this month to feature one of our sisters from Berlin. Shei and I met thru Yahoo 360 in late 2005, unmasked a month apart in 2006 (birth of Sheila), and partied together in Berlin in 2007 and 2008. (That's her on the left side of your screen.) Needless to say, it was great to catch up with Berlin's Hottest Rockabilly Pin-Up Drag Queen, and I know that you will love her too.

Where can you get thigh high boots, a 12-inch waist, big bosoms and big hair all for only $25? Checkout this month's Puppen-Bluten section for the answer.

Oh, the girl over on the right is a close friend of mine (wink). I did this rendering of her as part of the development for a screenplay. She's a good lass. You may see her elsewhere in this issue, and you will surely see her in Atlanta this month at the Southern Comfort Conference (SCC).

Speaking of the SCC, I am truly looking forward to it. I don't know everything that is planned, but keeping up with folks on Yahoo has helped me to gain an appreciation for its finer points. I am especially looking forward to seeing Rubberdoll perform at the Jungle on Saturday, September 11th...outta be outrageous! Several friends from various Internet social groups will be there, and I am looking forward to meeting them for the first time. EmmaM, thanks so very much for your friendship, and I look forward to seeing you again.

Simone LaTour asked me about some pictures that I'd taken showing a mask repair on my Lolita, so I have offered a short bit about that in this month's First Looks section.

Doroty has offered a wonderful piece on accessories this month; Steffy preps us for the Montreal Fetish Weekend, with the promise of wild tales in October, and there are bunches of Dolls coming and going and lots of squee-licious fun.

Cindy, I am so very sorry it didn't work out this time, but I do sincerely want to try again whenever you think that you are ready. I'm very glad to have you here in any capacity.

Our Centerfold this month is the legendary Showgirl and Cher impersonator, Candi Stratton, and my only regret is that our mutual schedules didn't line up well enough for an interview.

As I review this issue, I see that Germany is very well represented, and I am truly happy for that.

Be good; be well,

T-Vyrus

The International Day of Peace, also known as the World Peace Day, occurs annually on September 21. It is dedicated to peace, or specifically the absence of war, such as might be occasioned by a temporary cease fire in a combat zone. It is observed by many nations, political groups, military groups, and peoples. The first year this holiday was celebrated was 1981. (Wikipedia)

SHEILA VON BERLIN, Sheila Wolf
Berlin, Germany
Interviewer: T-Vyrus

SW: Bonjour, how are you?

TV: Hi Sheila, I’m good, and it is great to connect with you after so long.

SW: Yes… time goes by.

TV: (laughs) Yes, too slow sometimes, or too fast other times.

SW: I see it everyday in the mirror. (laughs)

TV: Oh, but you are absolutely fabulous.

SW: So when do you begin to write a t-girl magazine?

TV: I started the magazine officially in January, but I would not describe it as t-girl… perhaps just ‘girly’ and open to anyone with boobs. (laughs)

SW: (laughs) It’s OK and very interesting. Do you know of the magazine called Candy?

TV: No, I have not heard of it.

SW: You should take a look here it’s amazing, and I know you do something similar with Hot Girls Magazine.

TV: It looks wonderful, but only one issue so far, Fall-Winter 2009-2010, and only one thousand copies, sigh... I’m not sure that it deserves to be called the first of its kind… Transformation has been around for far longer (over 70 issues) and is in much wider distribution.  I think that your own Queer’lesque magazine is excellent.

SW: Thanks!  So, do you have any questions?

TV: Well... to start, how have you been and what have you been up to? I haven't seen you since December of 2008.

SW: Wow! That is a BIG question.  I have been doing so much... I have done Queer Burlesque shows, a music video, a gorgeous interview for a producer of the BBC and fashion catwalks... so much has happened that I can't remember it all. But that’s the reason that I write the Queer’lesque magazine because I can read my own articles to remember (laughing) …cause I am gettin' older…and older…and the brain is driftin'.

TV: (laughs) Girl stop! You are ‘not’ old at all, and I will direct people to Queer’lesque so that they can see for themselves all of the wonderful things that you have been up to. So, tell me more about the Burlesque shows; I did see some of the videos and they were fabulous.

SW: First, I do Burlesque Comedy because no Drag Queen in Berlin has ever done this, and I love this kind of style. I met Bernie Dexter (the new Bettie Page) and of course Dita von Teese, but I will never be naked on stage. So, I needed an idea that combined Burlesque with Drag-Art, and that is what I do now... a mixture of Burlesque, Comedy, Travesty and Lipsynch.

TV: That's too cool, and I know that you admire Bettie Page, so it is only natural. You are so incredible, and I am amazed at how busy you keep yourself. …and truly, one must have a good sense of humor. Does Janka ever perform with you?

SW: No, not really. I did one dance performance with Janka, but it is not my strength. I am more an actor than a dancer.

TV: Do you have videos that I can direct our readers to?

SW: Yes, here are some… the Queer’lesque Drag-Burlesque Show at Irrenhouse, my Miss Lava, Don't Tell a Soul music video and my Bernie Dexter Interview at the ARS VIVENDI event 2010… a show, a music video and an absolutely fabulous interview.

{left: clip from Sheila's music video}

TV: Wow Shei, these are all so incredible… the dual personalities thing is always fun, and your music video is so well done and really shows you at your Diva-best… and the interview with Ms. Dexter is absolutely adorable. alles ist gut, alles ist Spaß… I am so jealous!

SW: Oh, thank you.

TV: How is Janka and what crazy things have you been doing?

SW: Janka is my best friend, and we do outfits together for Christopher Street Day and other events. Actually, we are going to Mykonos together on the 24th.

TV: Mykonos?

SW: It is a Greek island. {photo right}

TV: Sec’… (a quick Google search) wow, it looks like paradise, sehr schön.

SW: I think it will be fun.

{left: Shei Wolf masked}

TV: Yes, I believe so too.  So, maybe we can step back for a moment… we met thru Yahoo 360 in late 2005, but we were both masking at the time. I have wanted to interview you for so long because I am always trying to blur boundaries, and for some girls female masking is only a transition. I think it will be great for readers to know how you transitioned from female masked girl to the fabulous t-girl that you are today.

SW: (laughs) Yes, everything can happen with enough fantasy. I masked myself because I never thought that I could do it. I mean the makeup, hair and all of that! All thru the years, I was very creative in the things that I did, but to change my gender in that way... I never believed that I could learn all of the things necessary, but I did. First, I went to a professional makeup artist, and I was so impressed by what I saw at the end, and then I tried to be unique... to find my own style. The fact that I loved Rockabilly in the eighties brought me to the Rockabella/Pinup style (laughs), and I came back to the Rock-N-Roll scene after many years.

{right: Shei Wolf unmasked, Sept. 2006}

TV: I remember when you unmasked. I thought to myself, “I can never be so pretty, and so I can never unmask now,” but you were very encouraging, and a month later I unmasked also. I think it was September and October of 2006, and then we finally met at White Trash in Berlin at the end of 2007. It was a very good experience and you were a very kind host.

SW: Thank you... I try to share my experiences with guests, and to show them the Queer side of Berlin and my world...  In the meantime I had many cultural experiences, and I attended all of the big musical and cabaret shows.

TV: Well, I still regard you as Berlin’s number one Tranny Tour Guide. (laughs) You mentioned Rockabella... did you ever buy the dress that you wanted from Pony Mädchen

SW: Of course... many of them... Since then I have the support of many fashion labels because I do a lot of promotion for them. It is good B2B. (laughs)

TV: Yes, yes of course... I regret that I have not been good to keep up with all of your activities and writing – sigh…

SW: At left is a photo of my first Pony Mädchen outfit.

TV: schon... sorry... my keyboard doesn’t have German keys. (laughs)

SW: (laughs) No matter, I understand you.

TV: I try. (laughs) What ever happened to the Pussycats?

SW: Oh we did the Pussycats twice again... but now they have to sleep for a while. Janka and I try to find new outfits for every new event, and now I have so many costumes… it’s totally strange. …but they will be back someday - I promise. (laughs) Better and sexier than ever! (more laughter)

TV: They were (and are) very sexy already, and of course a girl must never wear the same fashion twice. (laughs)

SW: (smiles)

TV: Are there still official contests or do you and Janka just do it for fun now?

SW: We do it to be different from everyone else, because we are fashion victims. (laughs) I did a fashion contest this year, and I placed 5th among 250 REAL GIRLS! (laughs) That was fun! It was the Model Madness Contest 2010. {right: Pirate Style}

TV: A total fashion Diva I think - sigh... pretty German girls are so incredible, and I am going to get a thrill out of making you our covergirl... everyone will love you.

SW: (laughs) We will see what happens... Do you do the magazine by yourself?

TV: For the most part yes… the editing, web design, graphics, interviews… Steffy and Doroty are both feature writers now, and they have been a tremendous help to me. You are always welcome to contribute also, and I know that you love fashion.

SW: Yes, that is the reason for my fashion blog.

TV: Yes, it is excellent, and of course very well done.

SW: Thank you… and the next baby is coming soon. (laughs)

TV: Oh… congratulations... how are your wife and daughter?

SW: (laughs) With “baby” I mean my next blog project.

TV: (laughs)

SW: My wife and daughter are very well, and my daughter is really proud of her daddy. (laughs)

TV: So tell me about the new baby. (laughs)

{left: Sheila & Nicci Tristan, German Fetish Ball, 2009}

SW: It will be gossip about Stars, fashion treasures, makeup highlights... and everything will be presented in a higher level of production. We will see what happens. It is a co-project with a well know burlesque icon, I can’t say more, but it will be online in October, I hope.

TV: That’s wonderful Sheila, and I know that it will be received very well.

SW: I hope!

TV: Do you know Dirty Martini, she is a New York based Burlesque Star?

SW: Yes, of course… she is amazing... I read about her, but I have never seen her live.

TV: She has been touring - and promoting her new movie with live Burlesque shows. Gary Beeber, the Director of the film, has been instrumental in promoting the film, and the premiere in New York City was a huge success. Perhaps they will do a show in Berlin, and I am still hoping to bring the show to Nashville also.

SW: Cool!

TV: Yes, the movie is a great tribute to Dirty and it would be nice to play a small role in promoting it and bringing it to new audiences. So, what else should I tell our readers about you - are there other links or shows that people might enjoy?

SW: Maybe my Drag Burlesque video page.

TV: Cool… you are such a wealth of information and talent.

SW: (smiles) Thank you... I hope you do a lovely article with the information. Do you print this magazine also?

TV: No, not yet, but I want to, and I am working with local publishers. We'll see… It’s funny, people see my ancient cell phone and they wonder why I don’t have a new one with Internet capabilities. Yet they still want Hot Girls Magazine in print. (laughs). I think they like the idea of a coffee table piece… something to leave out and to show people. Donna Karen is pushing me to do a Pin-Up calendar for 2011, and I am hopeful that we can make it happen.

SW: Cute... I wanna be the March girl. (laughs)

TV: Why March?

SW: Because I was born in March. (laughs)

TV: (laughs) Yes, I might have guessed.

SW: While I am in Greece, I am planning to do Pin-Up pictures on the beach. Real traditional Pin-Up pictures… that’s sooo funny!

{left: Red Pencil Skirt}

TV: That would be wonderful... I'll use them. So, maybe for now we must say goodnight, but it has been very good to catch up with you... it is too long.

SW: OK, I will send you a collection of pictures tomorrow, along with the photographer credits.

TV: Cool and thanks… most don’t send me the credits, but I feel they are important.

SW: It is, yes, and I respect all of the artists who take pictures of me, and of course of other people too.

TV: I think that cameras and mirrors are very important to us - perhaps a girl’s best friend. (laughs)

SW: (laughs) Yes, that’s true.

TV: I miss Berlin girl, perhaps next year I’ll get to come back. At least the magazine is a good outlet for me.

SW: OK... so come to Berlin hon’... there are many things to see. (laughs)

TV: Yes, I know... I miss you all, so please say hello to the Berlin girls that I know, and send them my good wishes.

SW: I will… have a good night, and talk to you soon.

TV: You too Shei…  tschuss

SW: tschüss

Costume Jewelry
By Doroty

Hello Dear Readers;

This month I have decided to talk about jewelry, trinkets and accessories, and as usual I am hopeful that I might offer some suggestions, which might contribute to your wonderful look.

{left: Peacock Bangle, ModCloth}

The trinket industry produces and markets wearable accessories such as necklaces, bracelets, belts, rings, earrings and more; these are made by hand using less precious materials such as glass, plastic, ceramic, wood, stones, shells and metal. The result is beautiful designs at modest prices.

Recently, there has been considerable interest in trinkets, and jewelry hobbyists have contributed greatly to the proliferation of unique designs, which have been featured on websites and in art and jewelry magazines. Jewelry Artisans are a popular part of art and craft fairs, exclusive exhibitions and at markets for hobbyists everywhere.

Jewelry that mimicked precious stones and metals had its intimate start in early twentieth century Paris, and one-of-a-kind pieces designed by couturiers were made completely by hand. However, these pricey jewels were never intended to be worn by the general public, and in 1901, the couturiers, scorning the idea of imitation jewelry, popularized the term bijouterie fantaisie, or fantasy jewelry.

{right: collana, Bigiotteria PAOLA}

In the 1930’s, New York and Providence, Rhode Island were home to the jobbers and artisans most responsible for American made imitation or costume jewelry, which were mostly mass-produced. Mechanization made it possible to offer a variety of stylish, well-made designs, which were produced using different materials and methods, and marketed to different demographics. The same popular form was frequently created in three versions at three different prices: hand-worked solid gold, rolled gold, and stamped brass electroplated with gold. (source: American Costume Jewelry: Decorative jewelry findings and Guyot Brothers in Historical Context by Juliet Friedman)

The Historic Jewelry District of Providence, Rhode Island was added to the U.S. National Registry of Historic Places in 1985.

Today, costume accents can be worn for any occasion without the concern associated with wearing precious jewels. Used to accent the wearer’s appearance and wardrobe, they are appropriate for work, public and private events, clubbing, walking and more. Often the occasion itself might suggest a theme, which can then be incorporated into the wearer’s wardrobe.

With the world economic crisis affecting so many people, the popularity of trinkets has spread - earning higher status and being produced and marketed by famous designers. Even the trendiest wedding hairstyles can include matching costume-jewelry adornment.

{left: Crystal Hair Pins, Model Bride}

Similarly, you can find trinkets to compliment any outfit, and whether you prefer formal or informal dress, there are always affordable accents that will suit your taste.

Inexpensive, fashionable accessories relieve the guilt of spending hard earned discretionary income, and they offer the feel good rewards that come from looking fabulous. Even during difficult financial times, a girl wants to feel pretty, and affordable jewelry made from metals, crystals, semiprecious stones and even plastic, are one way for a girl to achieve a truly trendy high-tech look.

{right: Leopard Print Pencil Skirt and Halter Top, Babygirl Boutique}

No collection of wardrobes is complete without an assortment of accessories, and shoes, handbags, belts, sunglasses and more, can be renewed every day and lend to romantic, chic or elegant occasions.

Long stone or metal necklaces are perfect for a dress with simple lines, offering a chic hippie look. Rings of different sizes and materials can accent the hands, as can gloves of varying colors, textures and lengths. …and belts, scarves and hair-bands can compliment other colors in your wardrobe.

{left: Miya Zipper Hobo, Handbag Heaven}

When using fashion accessories you should strive to compliment your wardrobe, and to accommodate your size and height. Accessories are a great way to extend your wardrobe, and a black dress accented with a wide red belt one day might be accented with a gold hoop belt for another occasion.

Trendy in recent years have been hair-bands, vivid colors, large t-shirts, sixties style sunglass, large white handbags and belted dresses and blouses. Use your imagination and be creative.

Well, I now come to the end, and I will welcome hearing from some of you, and I look forward to next month when we will revisit still more trendy fun with fashion.

Kisses,

Doroty

Hot Toon Dog is Back!
by T-Vyrus

Well, this is quite fun, and I will be surprised if more of you don't do it. Look at me over there on the left... thigh high boots, trim waist, big boobs, big hair... (laughs) Indeed, quite a lot of fun!

Last month I featured the over-the-top fantasy artwork of Hot Toon Dog, and I just couldn't resist working with him - and having some fun with my own pictures. He did two commissions for me, and he provided me with the pencil sketches and final renderings for both. I confess to loving conceptual sketches such as these.

For everyone's sake, I have created two collages that show the original photos that were provided, the pencil sketches and the final hotty-tooned me.

I work very hard at my own attempts to be sexy, but Hot Toon Dog certainly does a lot more to make a girl's dreams come true. The only guidance that I offered to him was..."give me one of those super hot bodies that you are so good at, use my real face and hair, and if you use a prop, then use a whip." ...and so here are the results.

When I opened his email to me, and I saw these renderings attached, I immediately began laughing my ass off... thinking to myself "OMG." This was followed by thoughts of... "if only I did look that good." (sigh)

We have featured many artists over the past few months, and I do hope that you might consider supporting some of them by commissioning your own portraits.

Recently, I heard from Mistress Keiko Kabuki, and she mentioned that she is doing some artwork for a truly wonderful German model. Keiko's artwork was featured in our July issue, and I was happy to learn that we helped to make the connection. You will see more about this in November, so stay tooned.

To paraphrase a popular expression, "I'm bad because Hot Toon Dog drew me that way."

Have fun everyone, and never take yourselves too seriously,

T-Vyrus

GUEST WRITER(S):

My Favorite Material (Montreal Fetish Weekend)
By Steffy The Rubberdoll

What's your favorite material... leather, vinyl, satin, nylon... rubber or latex?

Many of us seem to fall victim to the "shiny look" and this can really enhance outfits for maximum jaw drop effect when worn to events and the like.

Well mine is latex-rubber, both words generally describe the same thing. I don't know why I like it, I just do, and I have enjoyed it since I was about five. I had no idea that you could actually get clothing made of this until I was in my teens and discovered the company Sealwear in Bournemouth, England. I duly ordered their catalogs and started pondering all of the items that I wanted. You needed deep pockets to buy this stuff, and you still do, but I bought one or two items to start with - and the downhill slide on the slippery slope started.

We tend to start with skirts, tops and stockings and then graduate to more sophisticated items. Many are made by hand, as opposed to being dipped, and they look best when made to measure or custom sized.

Once you have discovered the joys of wearing and being perved in latex, then you tend to want to go to places where you can see others doing it also. It's an opportunity to make friends among those with similar interests, and to get ideas for future outfits.

These days we are spoiled for choices of this type of event, and there are some very good ones in Europe, the UK, and North America.

Canada now boasts one of the worlds best, the Montreal Fetish Weekend. I have been to all but the first, and I am continually amazed at all that is offered for the fetish enthusiast. The dress is predominately latex and rubber, so if you are looking for a chance to mingle with others who enjoy this interest, then this may be the event for you.

You can visit the website for more information.

I will be attending this year's event to meet old fetish friends and to make new ones, so why not join me in Montreal?

If you do come, please say hello and introduce yourself, and if you can't this time round, then watch for the write up next month and begin making plans for next year.

Rubber Hugs,

STEFFY

RESIDENT EVIL: Afterlife

There aren't many things that I get excited about, but I am a huge fan of actress, Mila Jovovich. So... in spite of the fact that zombie movies aren't really my cup of tea, I have seen every one of the Resident Evil films, and you can be sure that I will see After Life also - because Alice Rocks!

Yeah, Alice is back, the nemesis of the zombie nation... tall, tight and tactical... kicking undead butt and taking names. Indeed, among Hollywood stars, Mila does rank pretty high on my celluloid heroines list. Anyway, take this for what it's worth, because clearly I have a strong bias, but I will say that this is a must see flick, and it will be shown in 3D in select theatres. (T-Vyrus)

Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)

In a world ravaged by the tyrant virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap. DOLL CROSSING:

This is the place for you to show your support of the Hot Girls Magazine, and we will feature a few girls each month. For consideration, send your picture and a maximum of 100 words to the editor.

Sonja Ravenscroft Cherry Chen Cassy Cassard

I love masking - I admit it. I love the expression that goes with the passion, and I have been interested in it for many years. I started masking myself only a couple of years ago. My wonderful wife encourages it, and she often suggests outfits.

I am part of a couple of Internet social groups, and I enjoy the friends that I've made there, and I look forward to meeting others. I appreciate everyone, even those who express themselves more sexually.

For myself, I enjoy expressing femininity, and I like natural attire, such as the look of a woman who has just come from a business meeting or a fancy restaurant.

I like to meet other masked girls online for socializing and support, and my circle of friends is slowly but surely growing. I am glad to find others like me who are willing to talk about their day, a movie they've seen, a show they've been to, etc., and not always about sexual interests.

I enjoy being there for others and I look forward to meeting more of you.

Sincerely,

Sonja

I think that I will make this spot the Cherry Love Doll connection.

Cherry joined us here in June, and recently I saw a video that she posted on YouTube, which included excerpts from her feature. It was just too cool not to share, so here again for your enjoyment is the sleek, the sexy, the shinny...

...Cherry Chen!

Cherry is one of our top referrers, and I thank her sincerely for that.

Hugs,

Cherry recommended the following website.

Latex Catfish

My name is Cassy, which is short for Cassiopaya, and my last name is Cassard, but to be honest I am not French.

I am a transgender adult model from Mannheim, Germany, and since my early childhood, I've had the feeling that I am different. I tried various clothes from my mother's closet and it gave me an indescribably exciting feeling. I wouldn't say that it was totally sexually driven, but there surely was the tendency, and I felt similar to other t-girls.

Unlike pure fetishists who
only dress up for sexual enjoyment, I dress nicely for other occasions too.

During childhood and puberty, I had phases where I stopped for a while, but I always returned to dressing because it was a feeling that I couldn't deny.

At the age of 26 I truly started to live, and I felt that every bit of me was transvestite. In 2003 Lena Lombardi wanted to create a website where t-girls, could sell their triple-x pictures, and I was one of sixteen models included when the site launched.

Later I started my own website, which is online now, and if you visit me on facebook, I will tell you more about it.

Hugs and kisses,

Cassy Cassard

I am not opposed to sexually explicit material; however, Cassy's website does not have a "content warning" page, so we have opted to direct readers to her facebook site instead.

Thanks Cassy and hugs,

T-Vyrus

FIRST LOOKS:

Mask Repair
By T-Vyrus

Simone LaTour asked if I would offer something on mask repair, so here is something that previously only appeared within my own private profile on DollsPride.

The first thing that you should know is that I've never done this sort of thing before; however, I listened intently when I interviewed EmmaM in April, and her insights on working with rubber were very helpful to me - albeit as applied to my foam latex Lolita mask, and not to the creation of a latex outfit.

The pictures speak for themselves, but I will offer that you will need some rubber cement, low tack tape, an old mask to steal some rubber from and some patience.

In this sequence, I inserted an empty bowl to give the chin its correct shape, then I taped the rip, turned the mask inside out, made a patch, glued the patch, glued the mask, applied the patch to the mask, patted into place, turned the mask right side out, and then tried the mask on. Simple! (laughs)

Hugs,

T-Vyrus

WHO'S THAT DOLL:

Patrizia

In August, Donna Karen offered us a truly delightful theme, The Super Heroine Issue, and among those who participated were Patrizia - who portrayed Emma Peel in Donna's amazing composite photo. (T-Vyrus)

Patrizia writes;

Hello Darlings;

I always seek to create something ironic with my pictures, or sometimes simply normal or elegant, but without any real goal.

I am 39 years old, and I am from Italy. Since I was a child, I always loved to show the female side, which is hidden in all of us.

I'm am crazy for the Italian comic Diabolik because Eva Kant, the partner of Diabolik, always uses masks to impersonate the victims of their criminal acts.

I try to realize an appearance that is passable and not ridiculous, because my wardrobe is not for an hourglass figure. (laughs)

Masks for me aren't a fetish passion, but are an easier way to create the illusion of a passable female without tons of thick makeup applied to my face, that's all.

I was happy to be included in The Super Heroine Issue, and I am glad to be back again now, and to share something more about myself with all of you.

Take care everyone,

Patrizia

Cindy Baker

Cindy was to be our Centerfold this month; however, she had some difficulty with her camera. I am no less excited to include her, because she has always been an inspiration to me. I know that many of you feel the same way, and the popularity of her YouTube videos cannot be denied. (T-Vyrus)

Cindy writes:

I began to explore my feminine side when I was a young teenager, and I liked to wear pantyhose and high-heels - and my mother's clothing. Later I began to use masks from Greyland because they are the most realistic and affordable. However, they are not perfect enough, and I am searching for a much more realistic mask to wear in public. Something that is very thin and which can be glued onto my own skin would be best.

I like female masking because when I look in the mirror I see another personality, and I do not think of me, but of someone else. I buy my clothes thru eBay, sex shops and Internet shops, and most of my casual outfits are ordered thru very normal every-man shops.

I live in Frankfurt, but I do not have many opportunities to go out, and I have only made some short trips as Cindy in my car - and at night. I do not let anyone get too close to me because the illusion is not complete. My goal is to go out in public, anywhere at anytime, without anyone realizing that I am a man. I want to be the perfect women... to be Cindy without any traces of 'me' showing. The only way for me to accomplish this is to go out in a mask. Perhaps perfect makeup could work also, but it takes too much time, and there is too much to learn that requires an artistic proficiency.

I have never met other Dolls or Transsexuals, but I would like to meet them and to attend special parties. However, I only have a few days each year for transformation, and there may not be time for more. Also, I may not trust others enough to do this.

It was nice to discover maskon.com, and this made me realize that I was not alone; still, to create a wonderful women may always be a private thing for me. I posted my first pictures at maskon.com, and because of the positive responses, I was inspired to continue practicing my transformations.

Transformation is my favorite thing to do, and hopefully someday I will go out as Cindy, and nobody will notice the man behind the illusion. It would be wonderful to have the perfect female full body and face suit, where I could just slip in and be an adorable women.

Regretfully, I feel abnormal about my passion, but to live my second life as Cindy is very compelling to me.

I like women very much and I adore them, but a beautiful women will make me speechless. I'm a real man, and I do not want to change this; however I will create my own fantastic woman. Cindy wears the clothing that I like to see, and I can touch her wherever and whenever I want.

Kisses,

Cindy

...and here are three new Mystery Dolls for October!

CENTERFOLD:
Candi Stratton

I am truly grateful to Ms. Stratton for agreeing to be in our Drag Issue, but alas saddened that we did not have time for a proper interview.

A true icon among Show Queens, Candi started her career as a female and Cher impersonator - working in Chicago clubs such as La'Cage bar and Baton Show Lounge. Later she began performing for various pageant systems, including the Miss Continental Pageants.

A truly magnificent performer, Candi has claimed over forty titles, including Miss Gay Universe and Miss All American Goddess. Additionally, Candi has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Entertainment Tonight and Eye on Chicago.

Candi identifies as transgender, and she is one of the most genuine and down to earth people that you will ever meet. As a performer there is none better, and like her idol, Cher, she is always reinventing herself.

Strong willed and kind hearted, Ms. Stratton is an accomplished performer who delivers fabulous heartfelt shows. ...shows that keep audiences engaged and always coming back for more.

In January 2003 Candi moved to Melbourne, Australia, where she quickly reestablished herself and took her Cher Show on tour throughout Australia and Asia.

In 2008, Candi was a regular at the Kit Kat Club in Chicago, and she was on cast at Minnesota's Gay 90's thru August of 2009. Candi gives most of her attention to her road shows, and thru 2009 she focused on her appearance dates as All American Goddess; in December she and Clarissa Clarke did a short tour in Germany.

Today, Candi lives and performs in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I hope that you will join me in wishing Ms. Stratton continued success, health and happiness.
